What We Believe
Rooted in the Truth
We are true followers of Jesus Christ — not in name only, and not another gospel. We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three persons who are one God.
We believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again three days later, conquering death so that all who believe in Him may have eternal life.
We are Biblically based in everything we do and everything we believe. The Word of God is our foundation, our standard, and our guide.
Founder Story
Why The New Generation Exists
Early in his career, Colton signed to a label without fully understanding the terms — only to discover that a portion of his masters had already been taken. His money disappeared, and all he had to show for it was streams on Spotify. He learned firsthand what it feels like to have hours of your art quietly stolen.
The deeper he looked into how record deals really work, the more troubling it became: the loans, the endless recoups, the ownership stripped from the very artists who created the work. He saw young, talented people groomed and taken advantage of — even by labels that called themselves "Christian."
He decided it was time for something different. That conviction is why he founded The New Generation — a home where artists keep what they create, are treated with integrity, and are free to make music that points back to Jesus Christ.
